Clay Shooting
Dalmunzie offers an organised clay pigeon shoot with 2 automatic traps. It is ideal for beginners where basic introduction to clay target shooting is required. It is also good value for groups who want to fire plenty of shots!

25 Shots: £19.00

 

'Fees include shotgun hire, clays, cartridges, ear defenders, tuition and will be charged per person. If you wish to bring your own clays and cartridges a flat fee of £5.00 per person will be charged for the use of the traps. Shotgun hire may also be organised at £5.00 per person. For both it will be £7.00 per person. Only felt wadding cartridges will be permited.

 

 

Mountain Bikes
We have several miles of tracks on the estate, winding through forestry and over hills. Eight mountain bikes are available for hire to suit varying ages:

Half Day: £ 8.00
Full Day: £12.00
Weekly: £30.00

 

 
Estate Tours

Estate Tours & Dry Stalking
Come and tour the estate in a 4 wheel drive vehicle, any time between April and August, and have a chance to see red deer, roe deer, grouse, ptarmigan, blackcock, eagle, peregine, hares and other wild life.
This is for a minimum of 2 people. Please note, advance notice is required. Prices are:

2 People: £45.00 per person
3/4 People: £35.00 per person

Dry stalking is also available for those who wish to see deer close up without disturbing them. Please note, advance notice is required. Prices are:

1 Person: £80.00 per person
2 People: £60.00 per person

 

Fishing
Burn fishing for brown trout is free and available from May to October 16th. We also have a stocked rainbow and brown trout loch available for the same dates at a cost of:

Visit: £4.00
Fish: £3.00 per fish caught

Equipment is also for hire at a cost of £3.00

 

Tennis
A hard tennis court is available to hotel and cottage guests and is located next to the Hotel. Rackets and balls are available from the Hotel reception. This facility is free to Hotel and cottage guests. For non-residents there is a charge of £4 for the use of the court.

 

 

 

Game Shooting
A variety of shooting is available at Dalmunzie, but it is in great demand, so please telephone regarding availability. It is essential that all guests are fit and properly clad. Bad weather is always a possibility and parties are encouraged to take out insurance against bad weather cancellations. The following shooting is available at Dalmunzie:

Roe Deer Bucks and Does
Grouse

Golf

A well kept hilly 9 hole course, in mountainous surroundings with beautiful scenic views. It is one of the highest in Britain and was originally designed by Alistair McKenzie, the famed designer of Augusta.

              

Ideal for beginners and high handicappers but also providing a real challenge to low handicap golfers.

 

Visitors are most welcome, booking is not necessary, but advisable for parties of more than 4.
